93 Years of Magic

Bang & Olufsen at Fuorisalone 2019

Created for Bang & Olufsen’s participation during Fuorisalone 2019, the site, previously a textile factory, provided space for: Reception, cafe, pop-up shop, a heritage exhibition, private meeting room, as well as the primary installation showcasing the newly launched “Beovision Harmony” TV.

Visitors first traversed through an explorative journey, learning about specific products through time. Each with their own historical, technical, or design significance to both the brand’s reputation for innovation, as well as a particular relation to the new TV. Light, airy curtains added softness, elegance, and backdrops and guided navigation to the main installation.

Located in the double height atrium, the TVs floated on a still reflecting pool which poetically rippled when engaged with sound. Aluminum details, paying homage to the brand’s core material, extended into architecture by lining passageways, tunnels, and cinematic seating.
