Located on one of Los Angeles’s iconic main drags, this will be Regent’s second location and act as a flagship shop. Previously occupied by an insurance office, the scope of work entails a full renovation and interior fitting complete with a craft coffee bar, brewing and bottle area, back of house, retail space, customer lounge, and outdoor dining. The spatial concept takes an elevated, yet back-to-basics approach in both design and assembly, utilizing readily available and nominal materials that extend from the shell to create formations throughout the space and will receive classical treatments. The existing grid is celebrated both in the planning and use of repetitive/ modular building blocks, but is then offset by nature – with local plants providing varying levels of privacy to visitors. Lastly, the final layer of complementary finishings hold a key piece of the brand story – each being uniquely reflective of quality craft, refinement, and transformation through thoughtful process.
